GEORGIA 2nd Plenary Meeting: A Productive Gathering in Vienna!

Last week, on June 19-20, the GEORGIA project team gathered in Vienna for the 2nd Plenary Meeting—a two-day event marked by collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strengthened partnerships.

Our hosts, alchemia-nova and Cambium – Leben in Gemeinschaft, provided a welcoming and inspiring environment that set the tone for productive discussions. Together, we focused on a shared goal: advancing water management solutions for more resilient farming systems.

Day 1: Collaboration in Action

The first day featured insightful updates from project partners, open discussions on current challenges, and alignment on the next steps. The atmosphere was highly interactive, with participants exchanging experiences and best practices across regions and disciplines.

Strengthening Connections Beyond the Meeting Room

Our hosts also organised a special activity that brought the team closer together: a walk through the beautiful countryside of Vienna. Participants explored the region’s vineyards and natural landscapes, taking time to enjoy the surroundings and engage in informal conversations. This experience provided a unique opportunity to deepen personal connections, fostering trust and unity within the consortium.

Day 2: Planning the Future

The second day of the meeting built on this momentum, focusing on technical discussions, practical next steps, and knowledge-sharing. Thanks to the open, cooperative spirit, the GEORGIA team left Vienna more aligned, motivated, and ready to tackle the next phases of our project.

We extend our sincere thanks to alchemia-nova, Cambium – Leben in Gemeinschaft, and all contributors for their hospitality, commitment, and energy. Together, we are paving the way for innovative, resilient water management solutions for agriculture. Stay connected for more project updates and milestones!
