class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Levenswetenschappen van Wroclaw (UPWr) is een van de topuniversiteiten in Polen. Er werken meer dan 1600 personeelsleden, waaronder bijna 745 academici, meer dan 260 professoren en postdoctoraal afgestudeerden. De universiteit voert een breed onderzoeksspectrum uit op het gebied van biowetenschappen, milieuwetenschappen en diergeneeskunde. Ook wat betreft het aantal verkregen patenten behoort de universiteit tot de top van het land. Op Europees niveau is UPWr lid van belangrijke Europese netwerken en thematische groepen van belanghebbenden, zoals het European Biomass Research Network (EUBREN) en het Bio-based Industry Consortium (BIC). Het projectteam van de UPWr zal proeven uitvoeren met biologische waterabsorberende geocomposieten (BioWAG).\nBioWAG vertegenwoordigt een nieuwe benadering in duurzame landbouw met als doel het waterbehoud en de gezondheid van de bodem te verbeteren.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UPWr is ook van plan om experimenten uit te voeren waarbij BioWAG wordt gecombineerd met slimme landbouwtechnologie\u00ebn, zoals bodemvochtsensoren en geautomatiseerde irrigatiesystemen, om een volledig ge\u00efntegreerd precisielandbouwsysteem te cre\u00ebren dat de water- en voedingsstoftoevoer dynamisch kan aanpassen op basis van real- time behoeften van de bodem en planten.
