Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Umwelt- und Biowissenschaften Wroclav (UPWr) ist eine der Spitzenuniversit\u00e4ten Polens. Sie besch\u00e4ftigt \u00fcber 1.600 Mitarbeiter, darunter fast 745 Akademiker, \u00fcber 260 Professoren und Postdoktoranden. Die Universit\u00e4t betreibt ein breites Forschungsspektrum in den Biowissenschaften, Umweltwissenschaften und Veterin\u00e4rwissenschaften. Auch hinsichtlich der Anzahl der erteilten Patente nimmt sie einen der Spitzenpl\u00e4tze im Land ein. Auf europ\u00e4ischer Ebene ist die UPWr Mitglied wichtiger europ\u00e4ischer Netzwerke und thematischer Interessengruppen, wie etwa des European Biomass Research Network (EUBREN) und des Bio-based Industry Consortium (BIC). Auf regionaler Ebene arbeitet die UPWr mit dem Marschallamt Niederschlesien zusammen, was zur Entwicklung und Umsetzung eines regionalen Pilotentwicklungsprogramms mit dem Titel \u201eGr\u00fcnes Tal f\u00fcr Ern\u00e4hrung und Gesundheit\u201c im Einklang mit der nationalen Strategie f\u00fcr verantwortungsvolle Entwicklung 2030 gef\u00fchrt hat. Das Projektteam der UPWr wird Tests mit biologisch wasserabsorbierenden Geokompositen (BioWAG) durchf\u00fchren. BioWAG stellt einen neuartigen Ansatz in der nachhaltigen Landwirtschaft dar, der auf eine Verbesserung der Wassereinsparung und Bodengesundheit abzielt.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UPWr plant au\u00dferdem, Experimente durchzuf\u00fchren, bei denen BioWAG mit intelligenten Agrartechnologien wie Bodenfeuchtesensoren und automatisierten Bew\u00e4sserungssystemen kombiniert wird, um ein vollst\u00e4ndig integriertes Pr\u00e4zisionslandwirtschaftssystem zu schaffen, das die Wasser- und N\u00e4hrstoffzufuhr dynamisch an den Echtzeitbedarf von Boden und Pflanzen anpassen kann.
