Today, it comprises six faculties, offering high-quality education and research aligned with international standards. Within the GEORGIA project, the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences team will lead the testing of biological water-absorbing geocomposites (BioWAG) \u2013 an innovative solution aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture by enhancing water conservation and improving soil health. ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence (ECoE) is an autonomous Centre of Excellence in Earth Observation, space technology, and geospatial analysis. Located in Cyprus, ECoE\u2019s mission is to conduct both basic and applied research to enhance the understanding, management, and monitoring of natural resources and infrastructure. Within the GEORGIA project, ECoE will retrieve and analyse geospatial information from satellite data to support smart irrigation.
